Welcome to the wonderful world of Tigger's.

Tigger's Nursery Group consists of two nurseries in the Westonbirt and Stroud areas of Gloucestershire.  Each nursery is registered with OFSTED and can take children aged from 3 months-5 years.  Following a recent television programme on nurseries CCTV has been installed in all the children's playrooms and outside playgrounds, which is recorded 24 hours a day and can be used for parents to view at any time.  All entrances are securely monitored and no one is allowed to enter the premises without prior arrangement. 

Tigger's @ Westonbirt was opened in February 2001 by HRH the Prince of Wales. Tigger's @ Downfield (Stroud) was acquired from an existing nursery buisness in September 2003 and has undergone major refurbishment.  Both nurseries enjoy idyllic settings within school grounds and are brightly decorated and well equipped to promote each child's individual development.   Staff have NVQ in childcare and education levels 2,3 & 4 or NNEB equivalent.  All staff have first aid, food hygiene and child protection training (safeguarding children).  Children are set into age groups and from 3 years have a full curriculum and assessment in place.  (Changing to 0-5 Foundation Stage).  Qualified teachers have input in the planning and implementation of topics, crafts and activities.  Children are regulary assessed for their individual development, which is shared with parents at regular "parent evenings" throughout the year.
