Welcome to the wonderful world of Tigger's

Tigger's Nursery Group consists of two private nurseries in the Westonbirt (nr. Tetbury) and Stroud areas of Gloucestershire.  Each nursery is registered with OFSTED and can take children aged from birth-5 years.  CCTV has been installed in all the children's playrooms and outside play areas, which is recorded 24 hours a day and can be used for parents to view at any time.  All entrances are securely monitored and no one is allowed to enter the premises without prior arrangement. 

Tigger's @ Westonbirt (nr. Tetbury) was opened in February 2001 by HRH the Prince of Wales. Tigger's @ Downfield (Stroud) was acquired from an existing nursery business in September 2003 and has undergone major refurbishment.  Both nurseries enjoy idyllic settings within school grounds and are brightly decorated and well equipped to promote each child's individual development.  

Staff have NVQ 3, 4,5 & 6 or equivelent in childcare and education.  Both nurseries have a qualified teacher, who have also recently acheived the highly regarded "Early Years Professional Status" (EYP).   The Manager at Westonbirt has level 5 in Management and level 6 in Education. The Manager at Downfield has level 5 in Management and level 4 in childcare.  All staff have first aid, food hygiene and safeguarding children training.  

There is a full curriculum and assessment in place, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) lead by the qualified teachers with EYP.  Children are regulary assessed for their individual development, which is shared with parents at regular "parent evenings" throughout the year.
