"Up to 15 hours per week free childcare when your child is 3"!!! 

All children are entitled from the term after their third birthday to the Nursery Education Grant - NEG. This can be used in up to two settings, but when more than one setting is attended the NEG is apportioned between them.

At Tigger's we work everything out for you - all you need to do is book a visit and decide which sessions you would like your child to attend and we will make the claim for you at the appropriate times throughout the year. (Just your signature is required)

We have qualified teachers (B Ed) in each setting, who lead the curriculum and also have the desirable Early Years Professional Status (EYPS).  A LEGAL requirement by the Government for all settings to employ an EYPS by 2015.

All staff in Pre-school are experienced and well qualified, enabling a high quality learning environment, promoting children's learning and development in readiness for school.

Sessions include breakfast, mid morning snacks, lunch, afternoon snacks and a buffet tea, depending on hours of attendance.

Where a child is attending full days up to 6 hours per day may be claimed, the remaining hours are charged at our normal rates.  Below is a sample charge for extra hours that are not covered by the NEG, which is a term time only grant.

The price for a child attending 3 afternoon sessions with the NEG is FREE but a payment each week of £17.50 is required as a budget payment to cover attendance during all of the school holidays throughout the year, (Easter, Summer, Christmas and half-terms - 12 weeks approx) as we are a full daycare facility open 51 weeks per year. All fees are payable monthly in advance.

3 morning sessions with the NEG is FREE but a payment each week of £26.00 would be required as above.  Please note that AM sessions are more expensive than PM sessions - see full price list on fees page.

Prices are approximations and a quote in writing will be given on your visit.

 N.B Termtime only Playgroups do not charge any additional fees as they are only open 38 weeks per year and are not allowed to charge any top up fees. Most also charge extra for meals and any additional services.  Our price has no hidden costs as everything is included.

N.B Budget price means the holidays calculated over the year and spread out in order to budget each month instead of paying nothing during term-time and then having to make high payments throughout the 12 weeks holidays.
